Women's Bible Study: God of Creation | Jeannette Brennan | Avon Campus
Dive into the first 11 chapters of Genesis with discussion questions and teaching videos by Jen Wilkin. Revisit familiar stories and historical figures and discover deeper meanings in the text. As God reveals Himself through Scripture, we begin to understand ourselves better when we see the character, attributes, and promises of our Creator. The study begins at 6:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary, and then in Room 328B. No registration required.
Leadership Development | Avon Campus (This is part of a Men's Fraternity program, but this class is also for women): Your Leadership Plan: Who does God want you to be? What does God want you to do? At work? At home? At church? We will look at developing a leadership plan that includes your spiritual gifts and leadership strengths. Since ancient times, fasting has been considered an essential means of drawing near to God. But this spiritual discipline involves much more than abstaining from food; it goes right to the heart of genuine faith. Through this invigorating study, you'll gain a clear understanding of the principles behind this practice and be equipped to make fasting a key part of your relationship with God. Book Cost: $10. This community features great speakers on topics such as strengthening your marriage, improving your mothering skills, growing in your faith, and fostering meaningful friendships. Invite a friend! Community Bible Study | Avon Campus
Community Bible Study meets September to May every Thursday at 9:15 a.m. This year, CBS will study the Book of Acts over 30 weeks. Participants will see the Holy Spirit working through the lives of the apostles and the believers in the early church.
